Thank you for taking time to consult with us about your sewer odor problem. Sewer odor is typically from hydrogen sulfide gas and can smell like rotten eggs.
Firstly, can use Odoreze™ Natural Drain Odor Eliminator to stop the sewer smell coming from any drain. Dilute the product by mixing 1 oz. Odoreze™/gallon of water. Then simply pour a small amount of the concentrate in your floor or shower drain and toilet at night to allow it to work for a few hours or overnight. Repeat, as necessary, to continue to eliminate ongoing drain odor problems. For really tough odors, you can increase the concentration by mixing 5 oz. Odoreze™/gallon of water or even using the concentrate without dilution but do not use this strength anywhere else besides your drain because it could cause staining problems.
You can also dilute 0.25 oz. Odoreze™/gallon of water and spray it in the air to deodorize and use it to wipe down counters and other hard surfaces. This product is sold as a super concentrate so it will last for a long time.

If you have a HVAC system, you may also place the Smelleze® pouches on your return air vents, and/or in front of the air return duct in your furnace to filter the odors out faster. Overall, use one pouch for every 300 square feet of area treated and smell the difference. You can use additional pouches for areas with severe odors.This is also an effective treatment for absorbed sewer odors that are out gassing slowly since the Smelleze® pouches work continuously 24/7 to eliminate gases which otherwise would be reabsorbed to continue this cycle.
The Smelleze® pouches can be rejuvenated by exposing to direct sunlight for a day or microwaving for 2-3 minutes and reused over and over until all the odors are eliminated.
