Thank you for taking time to consult with us on your new cabinet odor problem. This is due to chemical out gassing from the new furniture. You can breathe easier by taking the following action to solve your problem quickly and effectively.
Firstly, I would recommend sprinkling Smelleze® Natural General Purpose Smell Deodorizer Granules on your cabinet surfaces to allow it to draw out chemicals like formaldehyde before it’s released into the air. Throw a bed sheet or plastic cover over the furniture to enable the sprinkled deodorizer to focus on pulling odor from the cabinet rather than the surrounding area. Allow it to work for at least a few hours or overnight. The longer the better. Then simply clean and repeat the treatment, if necessary, until the odors are removed.
