To get the mothball odor out of clothing and other items that are not washable, you may place them in a garbage bag or container, insert a Smelleze®Reusable Mothball Smell Deodorizer Pouch and/or sprinkle Smelleze® Natural Mothball Smell Deodorizer Powder on them and store for a few days to allow the mothball chemicals to be drawn out. Repeat, if necessary, until the odors are gone.
You may use Odoreze™ Natural Laundry Deodorizing Additive Concentrate to get the mothball chemical odor out from your washable clothes and fabric. You can simply add 1-2 teaspoons to your regular detergent in the wash machine to eliminate the mothball odor from the smelly clothes while doing your laundry. For items with really severe mothball odors, you may first soak the odor laden clothing in Odoreze™ (diluted 1-2 teaspoons/gallon) overnight and then wash them with your regular detergent plus Odoreze™ in your wash machine.
