Although SmellRid™ begins to eliminate the odor causing chemicals immediately the total time it takes to solve the problem will be dependent upon the following factors:
Whether the odor source has been found and removed.
How quickly the odors are released from the material/s causing the problem.
The amount of SmellRid™ pouches that are used. It’s important to make sure that you using the correct amount of SmellRid™ pouches for the area you are treating since these are absorbent products. Using less than the recommended amount of pouches will extend the time it takes to solve the problem and lead to disappointing results
Physical factors such as air flow, temperature, humidity will affect how quickly the pouches work. Using a fan to increase air circulation or placing the Smelleze® pouches on air vents will accelerate the odor removal process.
Rejuvenate the pouches according to the severity of the problem (see below) for the best and fastest results
The important thing to remember is that the SmellRid™ pouches will outlast your problem because they can be rejuvenated according to the following schedule and reused as long as it takes to completely eliminate your odor problem.
Strong Odor: Rejuvenate once a week
Medium Odor: Rejuvenate once every 2 weeks
Weak Odor: Rejuvenate once a month
Maintenance: Rejuvenate once a quarter (every 3 months)
